Psychological Coaching

"Enable change, increase joy"

I have been perceiving the purpose of my coaching in this way for quite some time. People often come to me who do not feel ill enough so that what they need is psychotherapy, but who nevertheless feel that they long for change and joy in their lives, and that the help of an experienced professional could be useful in achieving this.

"A safe space for dangerous thoughts"

With increasing experience, study, and training, I see the value in accompanying clients into deeper waters – and in providing solid support for safely navigating through.

Frequent Topics

  • Who am I? Where am I going? How do I get there?
  • Dissatisfaction in life
  • Need for change
  • Difficult decision
  • Working on self-esteem and self-confidence
  • Relationships – at work and in partnerships
  • I only live once – When to say yes and when to say no?

Professional Standards

In my coaching work, I adhere to the EMCC Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. I maintain complete confidentiality about the content of sessions and create a safe space through strict adherence to the ethical standards of psychotherapy and psychological coaching.

My day profession

In my main profession, I am a professor at the Faculty of Information Technology at Brno University of Technology. There, I deal with computer vision, artificial intelligence, and human-computer interaction.

Discovering psychotherapy, psychological coaching and working with the human soul filled a certain void within me. I would not want to give up either part of my work – neither the precise and abstract work with computers nor the delicate and profound work with people who are searching for answers. I have noticed that each of my two professions enriches the other.
